[Outreach]: High Speed Research Video with the Burke Museum

Dr. Rico-Guevara and myself had the privilege to highlight some of our work with the Burke Museum last month, and they made a beautiful summary video! One of the very cool opportunities at UW is the proximity to high-level research and public outreach venues. With the Burke Museum, we are regularly able to share our work as it's "in progress," not just the final project (ie. poster, publication, media coverage). This helps us show the bulk of scientific research---asking questions, developing methods, developing methods again, and many hours of collecting data. It makes it accessible to the public and budding scientists. I believe it makes science more accessible to all when we show the reality of the work, not just the highlights of our results!
