January 2021
The Behavioral Ecophysics Lab as well as the Santana Lab have started collaborating with the Digital Life 3D group working on a single-shot 3D macrophotogrammetry project. With this we can create 3D images and models of not only specimens, but even living animals (in the field!) as it only takes a second to take multiple photos with a single trigger shot. We are excited about the applications of this project! It is a short, internal grant, but was a great experience for me in collaborating and budgeting for a $89,000 grant, and you can check it out here!
