I am flattered, excited and proud to announce my newest transition to the Behavioral Ecophysics Lab at the University of Washington with Walt Halperin Endowed Scholar, Alejandro Rico-Guevara! I will be working as a Research Technician II investigating hummingbird energetics-- specifically related to feeding, coloration, metabolism and flight. I'm excited to learn from the wealth of knowledge in this lab including graduate students and post-docs and see what comes next!
Also the Burke Museum!
In addition to the Behavioral Ecophysics Lab, I will be using specimens from the Burke Museum for coloration work. The Burke Museum will be an amazing opportunity to participate in community outreach, via their open-view research area and and abundant community activation.
